World Endeavors believes that international travel has the power to change lives, broaden horizons, and deepen intercultural understanding. Since 2002, our organization has partnered with and brought meaningful experiential learning opportunities to countless universities, educational institutions, students, parents, advisors, and individuals eager to expand their vision of the world. We are passionate about our role as a catalyst for connection, learning, change, and transformation. Our approach is to put people and communities first – focusing on the distinct needs of the individuals involved in each project. In addition to this passionate, people-centered approach to our work, a combination of several other factors makes our programs unique:

Immersion

Committing to a hands-on experience in a foreign place where one may not know the language is a challenging and rewarding undertaking, and we believe the best way to learn the most from this experience is through total cultural immersion. World Endeavors uses homestays and offers language training whenever possible to give participants the most intimate window into their new world.

Value

It is our belief that a program abroad is one of the most important and positive investments you can make in your personal and professional development. We strive to bring significant value to this endeavor, offering personalized attention throughout the application and travel process at fees that are sometimes less than half of what other organizations charge. Our participants benefit from enriching opportunities in world-class universities, local grassroots non-profits, or respected global business organizations.

Staff

Perhaps our greatest asset, the World Endeavors staff is comprised of dynamic individuals who have volunteered, traveled, studied, worked, or lived abroad. Every member of our global team firmly believes in the value of international experience and strives to make each participant’s experience safe, culturally informative, and rewarding. Our US-based staff and our in-country coordinators work as a team to provide personalized and professional support for our participants throughout their program.

Projects

Grassroots, local organizations serve as our partners for volunteer projects in order to maintain our commitment to sustainable projects that are useful to local communities. Students and interns learn and work side by side with the locals for an academically or professionally immersive experience, practicing their language skills and learning about local business cultures. We strive to offer meaningful, engaging, and challenging programs and opportunities to all of our participants.
